Hopes of all the producers are now on Dilraju.

Dil Raju, known for his knack for distributing and producing blockbuster films, is now seen as the beacon of hope for producers in Telangana. Recently, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao firmly stated in the Assembly that there will be no more ticket price hikes or permissions for benefit shows, which shocked most of the industry. This is because ticket price hikes are necessary for high-budget films to become profitable.
As Dil Raju plans to release two of his films, Game Changer and Sankranthiki Vastunnam, for Sankranthi, and as the new chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, everyone is hopeful that he will step in to resolve the issue with the Telangana government regarding ticket price hikes.
Yesterday, young producer Naga Vamsi, whose film Daaku Maharaj is also releasing for Sankranthi, expressed confidence in Dil Raju’s ability to resolve the issue. When a reporter asked him about the ticket price hikes, he said they were at peace, trusting Dil Raju would handle the situation.
Dil Raju is releasing two major films this year for Sankranthi: Game Changer starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, and Sankranthiki Vastunnam starring Venkatesh and directed by Anil Ravipudi. Game Changer has been made with a whopping budget, and Dil Raju will definitely need ticket price hikes to make the film profitable.
There will be no issue regarding ticket price hikes in Andhra Pradesh, as the NDA government, since coming into power, has been very cooperative with the film industry. In fact, they recently approved the highest ticket price hikes for Pushpa 2. The Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, who is also an actor, is an added advantage for the industry. Now, Dil Raju needs to step in and secure the ticket price hikes for his films in Telangana.
Having recently returned to India after the pre-release event of Game Changer in the USA, everyone is assuming that Dil Raju will take action to resolve the ticket price hike issue in Telangana.
