Is #RC17 launch postponed further ? Here’s the answer

Ever since the news broke that Ram Charan and Sukumar are teaming up again after the blockbuster success of Rangasthalam, expectations and buzz around the project have been high.

Although the film was announced quite some time ago, it took a while for the project to materialize. Things have finally started moving, with both Ram Charan and Sukumar actively working on the film.

After a long gap, the actor and director have been involved in multiple script sittings and discussions. The team has also finalized young music director Shashwat Sachdev for the film. Sara Arjun is currently said to be the front-runner for the female lead.

The film is expected to have its formal launch on the auspicious occasion of Dasara, with shooting likely to commence by the end of October or in November.

However, a report has been circulating on social media since this morning claiming that the film’s launch has been postponed further. The news has understandably caused concern among Ram Charan’s fans, particularly given Sukumar’s reputation for taking considerable time to develop and finalize his scripts.

However, according to our reliable sources, there is no postponement of the formal launch at this point. The film’s launch is expected to take place as planned on Dasara.

The project is currently progressing as per the existing plan, with the team gearing up to move into production soon.
