Anil Ravipudi Hints at His Next Project

Director Anil Ravipudi is currently riding high on the blockbuster success of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which has emerged as the biggest grosser in the careers of both Ravipudi and Megastar Chiranjeevi. With an unbeaten track record since his directorial debut, expectations around his next project have naturally shot up. While there were earlier rumours about him directing Venkatesh next, no official confirmation had surfaced until now.

This morning, Anil Ravipudi visited Tirumala Tirupati to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara. During his interaction with the media, he was asked about his next film. The director confirmed that discussions are currently underway and stated that clarity on his next project is expected within the next 10 to 15 days. However, he refrained from revealing any specific details.

Meanwhile, strong industry reports suggest that Anil Ravipudi may reunite with Venkatesh for a multistarrer project. Buzz also indicates that the makers are approaching Karthi and Fahadh Faasil for another key role in the film. An official announcement is expected within the next two weeks, which should put an end to the speculation.

As per the talk, the film is being planned for a Sankranthi release next year, a festive slot that Anil Ravipudi is well known for capitalising on. Venkatesh is currently busy shooting for Adarsha Kutumbam, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, and is expected to join Anil Ravipudi’s project once that schedule is wrapped up. In the meantime, Anil Ravipudi is said to be focusing on pre-production and script work. Given his reputation for swift execution, the project is expected to move quickly once it goes on floors.
