Will Peddi and UBS Maintain a 3–4 Week Gap?
The makers of Ustaad Bhagat Singh confirmed yesterday at an event that they are planning to release the film in April 2026. Meanwhile, Ram Charan’s Peddi has already locked its release date for 27th March 2026. Both films are progressing smoothly, with ample time left for post-production, making postponements due to shooting delays highly unlikely.
This sets up an interesting scenario for Mega fans: back-to-back releases from Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan within just weeks. While that may sound exciting for the audience, releasing two major films from the same family too close to each other is generally not ideal. It divides audience attention, affects box-office run, and puts unnecessary pressure on both films.
Adding to that, both projects are produced by Mythri Movie Makers, making clash management even more crucial. Naturally, the makers will want to ensure a minimum gap of 3–4 weeks between the films so each gets enough breathing room.
Considering Peddi arrives on March 27th, the most sensible release dates for Ustaad Bhagat Singh are April 17th or April 24th, both falling on weekends and offering a comfortable gap.
For now, all signs point toward one of these two dates. Let’s wait for the official announcement.
