Vishwambhara Locks Summer 2026 Release, Teaser Out Today

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming socio-fantasy entertainer Vishwambhara, directed by Vasishta, has officially locked its release date for summer 2026. The announcement came through a special video released this morning, in which Chiranjeevi personally addressed fans and the audience, explaining the reasons behind the delay.

In the video, Chiranjeevi revealed that the film’s second half is packed with extensive VFX and graphics, which are crucial to the storytelling. To ensure the highest quality, the makers have decided not to rush the process, opting for a summer 2026 release instead of compromising on the visual grandeur.

Director Vasishta further shared that the complete VFX work is expected to be wrapped up by the end of October.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s film with director Anil Ravipudi is on track for a Sankranthi release, giving fans two big projects to look forward to in the coming years.The team also expressed that Vishwambhara is designed as a wholesome entertainer, particularly appealing to children. They believe summer is the perfect season for families and kids to enjoy the film in theatres, hence the chosen release window.
