The iconic Telugu film Aditya 369, hailed as the first time-travel movie in Telugu cinema starring Balakrishna, was re-released yesterday, reigniting nostalgia among fans and film enthusiasts. Directed by the legendary Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, the film has earned a cult status over the years for its unique concept and visionary storytelling.

To commemorate the re-release, a special event was held a few days ago, featuring the film’s lead actor Nandamuri Balakrishna along with several renowned directors. They shared fond memories and behind-the-scenes stories about the making of the film, celebrating its enduring legacy.

Interestingly, during its original release, Aditya 369 didn’t receive the attention it truly deserved. In a recent interview, producer Sivalenka Krishnaprasad revealed that the team turned to Megastar Chiranjeevi for support. Chiranjeevi graciously came forward and recorded video messages explaining the concept of time travel portrayed in the movie. These messages were broadcasted on Doordarshan and played a crucial role in bringing attention to the film, helping it reach a wider audience.

With its re-release, Aditya 369 once again reminds us of its ahead-of-its-time narrative and the collaborative spirit of the Telugu film industry.
