Pawan Kalyan: The First Victim of Piracy

Bunny Vas addressing the piracy of Thandel

The film Thandel, released on February 7th, received a shock in the form of piracy, with the pirated version of the film surfacing online by the afternoon of the same day. This incident mirrors what happened with Game Changer, which was released in January.

What shocked the team even more was that the film was played in an RTC bus just two days after its release. Enraged by this incident, producer Bunny Vas tweeted about it, tagging APSRTC and demanding action against those responsible.

Following this, producers Bunny Vas and Allu Aravind addressed the media on the issue. During the media interaction, Bunny Vas stated that he would bring the matter to the attention of Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and recalled that he was the first to suffer from piracy during the release of Attarintiki Daredi. The entire first version of Attarintiki Daredi was leaked online. Despite the leak, the film released and went on to become an industry hit.

Bunny Vas also shared the contact number 9573225069 and appealed to Akkineni fans and cinema lovers to share links to the pirated content, or provide details about anyone distributing such links, as well as video evidence of the pirated version being played in RTC buses, on cable TV, etc. He emphasized that video evidence would serve as strong proof.

The Thandel film starring Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi and directed by Chandoo Mondeti is running very well compared to the previous movies of Naga Chaintanya. And the tunes composed by Devi Sri Prasad are receiving applause from every section of the audiences.
