Out of Ram Charan & Nani, who backs out?

Peddi vs Paradise

Two highly anticipated Telugu films Peddi starring Ram Charan and Paradise headlined by Nani have officially announced their release dates, setting up an intriguing box office clash in March 2026. As per the latest updates, Peddi is scheduled for release on March 27, 2026, while Paradise has locked in March 26, 2026, just a day before.

Naturally, this raises the question: will both films stick to their dates, or will one back out?

Both directors, Buchibabu Sana (Peddi) and Srikanth Odela (Paradise), are proteges of ace filmmaker Sukumar and are racing against time to complete their projects. However, the ground reality of each film’s progress suggests different trajectories.

Ram Charan Peddi – Strong Progress, Steady Momentum

Buchibabu Sana’s Peddi has already wrapped more than 25% of its shoot. Initially intended for a late 2025 release, the film’s timeline was adjusted to 2027 due to Netflix’s influence—Netflix having acquired its OTT rights. However, in a recent shift, the team has now finalized March 27, 2026, for its theatrical debut. Given the substantial progress and Netflix’s vested interest, it’s highly unlikely that Peddi will shift its date again.

Nani Paradise – Delays and Uncertainty

On the other hand, Paradise is yet to go on floors. Hero Nani is currently occupied with the promotional campaign for HIT 3, and the film’s lead actress hasn’t been finalized yet. With pre-production still underway and shooting not yet begun, a March 2026 release appears increasingly unrealistic. The odds strongly favor Paradise being postponed to a later date.

The Verdict

While both films promise strong content backed by talented teams, the release clash seems temporary. Based on current production statuses, it’s most likely that Paradise will back out from the announced date, leaving Peddi with a clear runway at the box office.
