Directors of NTR Must Open Up About Their Films
Jr NTR is one of the most celebrated stars of Indian cinema today, and his projects always generate massive public interest. However, recent silence from his film teams has unintentionally fueled speculation, leaving fans worried and restless.
At present, Jr NTR is working on a high-budget, action-packed project with filmmaker Prashant Neel. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie is expected to showcase NTR in a larger-than-life avatar, with music being composed by Ravi Basrur. As the film marks the much-anticipated collaboration between NTR and Neel, expectations are understandably monumental.
Yet, despite the excitement, unaddressed reports have created confusion. Rumours have been circulating that major portions of the footage shot for this project, earlier referred to by the working title Dragon, were scrapped due to creative differences. The team, however, has not issued any official statement regarding these claims.
Adding to the uncertainty, even bigger rumours suggesting that Devara 2, the sequel to NTR’s 2024 blockbuster Devara, has been shelved, surfaced recently. The sequel was set to reunite NTR with director Koratala Siva, who helmed the original film. Once again, the absence of confirmation or denial from the team has led to alarm among the audience.
What is concerning fans most is not the rumours themselves, but the silence around them. With two major films hanging under speculation, it has now become crucial for both Prashant Neel and Koratala Siva to publicly address these reports and reassure their audience.
Transparency at this stage would not only calm fan anxieties, but also strengthen trust in both productions.
