The excitement surrounding the new Prabhas project directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is reaching remarkable levels. Since the initial discussions about this collaboration surfaced, industry circles and fans have been eagerly tracking every update. The film had its official launch recently, with Chiranjeevi adding gravitas to the ceremony as the distinguished chief guest. The team has chosen to keep Prabhas’ character design and physical transformation private for the moment, sustaining curiosity and speculation.

The first stretch of filming began four days ago and is expected to conclude shortly. This segment is intentionally brief, running for only four to five days, serving as an entry point into a much larger production plan.

Even before this filming phase is officially wrapped, reports claim that the movie’s streaming rights were acquired for an unprecedented ₹160 crore deal. Other films featuring major stars, including some upcoming commercial entertainers and high-profile pan-regional titles, are still navigating digital negotiations due to logistical and financial clearances. The speed at which Spirit secured its digital partnership is being widely viewed as a testament to the demand for this collaboration.

In the film, Prabhas essays the role of a police officer, a character space that promises emotional intensity and strong confrontations. Tripti Dimri stars opposite him, making her first appearance in Telugu cinema with this project. The supporting cast includes Prakash Raj and Kanchana in important roles that anchor the narrative. The director reiterated a bold production goal earlier, finishing the full shoot within 100 days, targeting a highly disciplined filming rhythm. Industry chatter suggests that the entire principal shoot is mapped to be completed in 100 days, with the team maintaining a structured pace aimed at delivering within a 100-day window.

With so much confidence built purely on the merit of the pairing, Spirit stands as another example of how high-trust collaborations are currently shaping audience interest across India.
