The Paradise OTT Version to Get New Additions? Srikanth Odela Reveals Plans

The paradise film starring Nani and the director Srikanth Odela

Nani’s The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, hit theatres on September 25. While the film did not entirely live up to the expectations of a section of Nani’s fans, it has managed to surpass several of Nani’s previous records in the Telugu states.

In a recent interview, Srikanth Odela revealed that the team could not get the kind of music he had envisioned for The Paradise due to time constraints. Composer Anirudh Ravichander was reportedly occupied with multiple projects, leaving the team with limited time to work on the film’s music.

According to Srikanth, he and lyricist Shyam Kasarla had initially planned a Telugu song for an important sequence in the second half of the film. However, because of the time constraints, they ultimately went ahead with an English rap song instead.

Now, both Srikanth Odela and Shyam Kasarla feel that the audience may not have fully connected with the emotion behind that particular sequence. They believe that adding the originally planned Telugu song could provide greater clarity to the scene and potentially offer viewers a different perspective on the film as a whole.

Srikanth has revealed that he is planning to approach Anirudh Ravichander once again and request him to compose the Telugu song. If everything falls into place, the director wants to add the song to the OTT version of The Paradise.

Interestingly, a few lines from the song have already created buzz. Shyam Kasarla recently recited some of the lyrics on stage, and those lines have caught the attention of audiences. If the complete song is eventually composed by Anirudh and added to the OTT version, it could generate considerable interest among fans of the film.

For now, it remains to be seen whether Srikanth Odela can convince Anirudh to compose the song and whether the filmmaker will eventually get the opportunity to present The Paradise with this additional Telugu track.

The Paradise is produced by SLV Cinemas, with Kayadu Lohar playing the female lead. Keerthy Suresh also makes a special appearance in a song.
