Vasishta Opens Up on Choosing Bheems Over Keeravani for Vishwambhara

Vishwambhara, the highly anticipated socio-fantasy film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, is directed by Vassishta, who earlier made his mark with Bimbisara. This marks his second venture, with Trisha playing the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi.
Following the teaser release, the film received criticism over its VFX quality. In response, the team has been working extensively to improve the visuals. Recently, director Vassishta assured fans that the output has significantly improved and will impress audiences.
With the exception of a special song and a few patchwork sequences, the shoot of Vishwambhara is nearly complete. Interestingly, while M.M. Keeravani was the original music director for the film, Bheems Ceciroleo has stepped in to compose the special number. Vassishta clarified the reason behind this change, explaining that Keeravani is currently occupied with the re-recording (RR) of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan. With the deadline approaching, Keeravani himself suggested bringing in another composer to avoid delays.
Vassishta also shared that Keeravani, known for his high standards, is not someone who compromises. He prefers not to proceed with tunes if the team isn’t completely satisfied. Hence, he encouraged the inclusion of a different composer for the special number to keep the schedule on track.
The special song is currently being shot, featuring Mouni Roy and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Although Sekhar Master was initially expected to handle the choreography, the team later opted for Ganesh Acharya instead.
With just patchwork remaining, the makers are eyeing a release soon. While a tentative release is planned for September or October, September already looks packed with big releases like OG, Akhanda 2, and Mirai. It remains to be seen whether Vishwambhara will join the September race or arrive in October.
