Premante Thrillu Praptirastu Review: A Fun, Light-Hearted Entertainer with a Fresh Twist

Premante film review

Madhusudhan (Priyadarshi) and Ramya (Aanandi) are both hesitant about marriage, each carrying their own doubts and fears. Despite this, their parents push them into an arranged match. But during the wedding celebrations, the two unexpectedly feel they may have found what they were looking for in a partner, eventually leading their parents to bring them together in marriage.

Story

On the surface, the film starts off like any other story about a newlywed couple struggling to adjust and solve their problems. But just when it begins to feel routine, Ramya discovers the real reason behind the issues in their early marital life. This twist sets the film apart from others in the genre. What follows is how both of them deal with this new revelation, along with the entry of a head-constable played by Suma Kanakala, which leads the film into a humorous track.

As a comedy entertainer, the point doesn’t need to be entirely convincing, what matters is whether it entertains. And the film largely succeeds on that front. The comedy works well, especially the track between Suma Kanakala and Vennela Kishore, which is genuinely hilarious. In contrast, the Hyper Aadi–Ram Prasad comedy portions don’t land as effectively.

The music and background score support the film nicely. Performance-wise, Priyadarshi and Aanandi deliver solid, believable portrayals. Suma Kanakala does a decent job, though her character shines mostly in funny moments. Aanandi, with her expressive eyes and lively screen presence, easily steals the show.

Overall:

Premante Thrillu Praptirastu is a light, enjoyable entertainer with laughter, charm, and a refreshing twist that keeps the routine story engaging. A good pick if you’re in the mood for a fun watch.
