Prabhas’ Birthday Wish to Sandeep Reddy Vanga Fuels the Spirit Hype
Spirit, starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is already surrounded by massive hype. Ever since the powerful combination was officially announced, expectations have soared. Prabhas playing a police officer under the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga is, by itself, enough to send fans and moviegoers into a frenzy.
The film’s regular shoot recently commenced, with Megastar Chiranjeevi gracing the pooja ceremony as the chief guest, further adding to the buzz around the project.
Today marks the birthday of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, a filmmaker who rose to stardom with just two films Arjun Reddy and Animal (three, if the Kabir Singh remake is included). His second PAN-India film, Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, turned out to be a massive box-office success and received strong audience applause despite polarising opinions.
During Animal promotions, Sandeep famously remarked that if audiences found Animal too violent, they should wait for his next film. That next film is Spirit, and it stars Prabhas, which has only amplified expectations.
Adding fuel to the excitement, Prabhas took to social media today to wish Sandeep Reddy Vanga on his birthday, writing, “Happy Birthday bro… Can’t wait for everyone to witness what you’re creating.” Coming from Prabhas himself, the message has significantly heightened anticipation for Spirit.
The film features Tripti Dimri as the female lead, while Vivek Oberoi will be seen in the antagonist’s role. Veteran actor Prakash Raj is also playing a crucial character. With a formidable cast, an intense subject, and a director known for pushing boundaries, Spirit is shaping up to be one of the most eagerly awaited films in Indian cinema.
