Peddi is my favorite subjet, says Ram Charan
The much-awaited Telugu film Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, continues to make waves with every update. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Vriddhi Cinemas, the film features an impressive ensemble with Divyendu in a key role and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar playing an important part. Music for the film is composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman.
The team unveiled the first single, “Chikiri Chikiri,” yesterday, and the response has been nothing short of sensational. The song received widespread appreciation across all language versions, amassing 32 million views in just 13 hours, an all-time record that shattered the previous benchmark set by Kissik from Pushpa 2, and that too in half the time.

Adding to the excitement, A.R. Rahman recently held a grand concert at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, attended by Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, and director Buchi Babu Sana. The team performed Chikiri Chikiri live to a thunderous reception. Speaking at the event, Ram Charan expressed his joy, saying that it had been his childhood dream to work with A.R. Rahman, and collaborating with him on Peddi, his most special project yet, was “more than he ever wished for.”
From the visually stunning “First Shot” glimpse to the record-breaking “Chikiri Chikiri”, every piece of promotional content from Peddi has only amplified the anticipation surrounding this pan-Indian spectacle. All eyes are now on what Buchi Babu and Ram Charan have in store next as the film inches closer to release.
