Daaku Maharaaj – HIT on Screen, but falls short at box office

Daaku Maharaaj is a film of Nandamuri Balakrishna directed Bobby Kolli. Sithara Entertainments produced this action mass entertainer. This film released on 12th January for Sankranthi season in clash with Game Changer and Sankranthiki Vastunnam.

Despite the blockbuster talk, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ , released on Jan 12 as a Sankranti gift, couldn’t achieve expected collections at the box office, even with the festive hype. From the talk it got on the release day, everyone expected it to generate good income but failed. Sankranthiki Vastunnam movie released 2 days later is getting excellent response from the family audience. The movie collected 1 cr in East Godavari 6 days consecutively. Even the evening shows are becoming housefuls in many areas. It got better talk than the 2 biggies released for Sankranthi, which led to the verdict of blockbuster at the box office too.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, music by SS Thaman, and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, the film is set to stream on Netflix from Feb 10.
